Though official Land Trust hikes are done for the season, you can still get out and explore your protected lands on your own. Our favorite things to do in the winter at our Preserves:
- Cross country ski along Lake Creek at the Metolius Preserve.
- Go tracking and see what kind of critters are out and about at Camp Polk Meadow Preserve.
- Meander out to the viewing platform at Indian Ford Meadow Preserve and see the mountains in all their winter glory.
- Take a winter hike at Whychus Canyon Preserve--it's often snow free all winter long!
Whatever you do, get outside and explore! Winter is a great time to enjoy the beauty and quiet of these special places.
