Thanks to Eagle Scout, Brett Ammeson, the Metolius Preserve has a new footbridge crossing over an ephemeral stream of the south fork of Lake Creek.

Brett called the Land Trust in August asking if he could improve the wooden plank currently had placed over the stream.  He then designed the bridge, secured material donations, and with the help of other Boy Scouts, finished the bridge earlier this month.

They did a great job and we really appreciate their work!
