The Tree Hunt is on--but watch for winter conditions!

12/2/10: The Land Trust's annual Metolius Preserve Tree Hunt is on this Saturday December 4th from 10am-2pm. BUT the forecast and conditions are wintery. Please read the following carefully!!
Snow and freezing rain have made the road into the Land Trust's Preserve slushy and slick. We are recommending that you have a 4WD vehicle or carry chains. You should be prepared for winter driving conditions. Be sure to have a shovel and be prepared to dig your car out if necessary. Once out on the Preserve there are several inches of snow on the ground. For more details on the Tree Hunt including what to bring and directions, visit our event page.
