Join the Land Trust for the third in a series of tours designed to get an up-close look at the restoration of Whychus Creek as it flows through Camp Polk Meadow Preserve. Amanda Egertson, the Land Trust’s stewardship director, and Ryan Houston, executive director of the UDWC, will explain the ins and outs of the restoration and give a first-hand look at the process for creating much better habitat for fish and wildlife. Explore the recently completed creek channel and learn about the native plants which will help re-vegetate the meadow.
