The Land Trust is pleased to announce that we've met a $25,000 challenge grant from the Maybelle Clark Macdonald Fund. We also recently received a three year capacity building grant from our partners at the Meyer Memorial Trust.

The Land Trust is pleased to announce that, thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we've met a $25,000 challenge grant from the Maybelle Clark Macdonald Fund! The Land Trust successfully raised the match in qualifying Five Rivers Society gifts of $1000 or more. Maybelle Clark has presented similar challenges for past three years and the Land Trust has been thrilled with the success of each challenge and with our partnership with Maybelle Clark.  Thanks to all of you who made qualifying gifts in one of the past three years, or for some of you, in all three! The Land Trust's ability to continue to grow a broad base of unrestricted support is crucial to our financial health, and allows us the flexibility to pursue a range of conservation, stewardship and outreach related goals. Thank you!

In related news, we're also pleased to announce receipt of a three year capacity building grant from our partners at the Meyer Memorial Trust.  This year, the grant will largely support the hiring of a new Conservation Project Manager and provide funding for due diligence costs associated with land transactions and our outreach program. Meyer Memorial Trust's mission is to "work with and invest in organizations, communities, ideas and efforts that contribute to a flourishing and equitable Oregon."
