The Deschutes Land Trust is seeking a part-time (5 days, 25 hours/week) Receptionist to provide administrative support for the organization. Primary duties include administrative support for outreach events and general reception tasks. Candidates should have a high school diploma (though a bachelors degree is preferred) and 1-2 years' experience in admin or event support.
The Deschutes Land Trust is celebrating its 18th year and has conserved more than 8,200 acres of land with thousands of acres of additional projects on the horizon. The Land Trust's mission is to conserve land for wildlife, scenic views, and local communities. We have a motivated staff of eight, an active Board, and engaged volunteers.
The successful candidate must share the organization’s commitment to the conservation of land and have a keen personal interest in the mission of the Land Trust. He or she must be independent, organized and have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage tasks. Applicants must have experience with technology, including but not limited to, all Microsoft applications, social media, and web based content management systems.
