The Deschutes Land Trust has been awarded a challenge grant from the Maybelle Clark Macdonald Fund to broaden our base of support. The Fund will contribute $50,000 to the Land Trust, but only if we can raise $50,000 in qualifying gifts. For those who can give for the first time or can give more, this is your chance to maximize the return on your conservation investment!

Qualifying gifts include:

  • All new gifts will be matched 1:1!
  • All above and beyond gifts will be matched. Increase your donation from last year, and your increase will be matched 1:1.

"We're thrilled to once again partner with the Maybelle Clark Macdonald Fund to broaden our base of support," said Brad Chalfant, executive director of the Deschutes Land Trust. "We are pursuing ambitious projects to conserve land for all Central Oregonians. Since many of these conservation and restoration projects take years to complete, it is crucial we continue to grow our annual support. This challenge grant from Maybelle Clark Macdonald will help us do just that."
