June 30th marked the end of the first year of the Campaign for Whychus Creek!

The Land Trust is pleased to report that our first year achievements include the successful conservation of 538 more acres on Whychus Creek. Last fall we added 480 acres onto Whychus Canyon Preserve and this spring another 58 acres at Aspen Hollow Preserve. That's 2.5 miles of Whychus Creek forever conserved!

We've also made great strides in our stewardship of our protected lands Whychus Creek. Highlights include planning for a massive 6-mile restoration of Whychus Creek and new trails and interpretive signs.

On the fundraising front, we continue to chip away at our goals. We're grateful to the many who have made contributions towards the Campaign. Thank you for dedication and vision!  Special thanks to Deschutes Brewery for their Business Challenge. The Brewery will match dollar for dollar business donations to the Campaign for Whychus Creek up to $10,000 on into year 2 of the Campaign. Read more about the Challenge and make your gift today!

As we move into the second year of the Campaign, we hope you'll be a part of this landmark effort!
