Weinberg joins Land Trust Board

Larry Weinberg joins the Deschutes Land Trust Board of Directors.

Larry Weinberg of Bend recently joined the Land Trust Board of Directors. Prior to moving to Bend in 2005, Larry worked for nearly 18 years at Boeing as an Associate Technical Fellow. His varied professional background includes work as an attorney with state government in Montana and as a mathematics professor at the University of Wyoming. In his spare time, Larry works to eliminate invasive plants from the Land Trust's Indian Ford Meadow and Camp Polk Meadow Preserves, and helps to lead the Land Trust’s Weed Warrior team in its seemingly never-ending battle with invasive species.
