The Deschutes Land Trust has been awarded a $2.5 million grant from the USDA’s Forest Legacy Program to support the acquisition and protection of Skyline Forest as a working community forest. The Deschutes Land Trust has been working since 2005 to purchase the 33,000 acre former Bull Springs Tree Farm and protect it from subdivision and development.
