Planting Party

The Land Trust has been working for several years to restore the native plant communities in the Hindman Springs portion of Camp Polk Meadow Preserve. This year we have another section of bare ground that is prepped and ready for new native plants and we could use your help! Join us for planting party on October 27th to help plant milkweed and other native plants at Camp Polk Meadow Preserve. Your efforts will help make improve habitat for birds, bees, and butterflies!

Who: This is a work party for adults 18 and over.

 Work party with moderate physical activity that includes digging and carrying plants.

What to Bring: Face covering (homemade is fine), hand sanitizer, work gloves, snacks/lunch, water and your own tools if you have them. Dress for the weather.
