Monarch Garden Work Party

Join the Land Trust for a spring work party to care for our new monarch and pollinator garden at the Crooked River Wetlands Complex! Young native plants need watering and tending to get established. Volunteers will water the plants and remove competitve weeds giving the native milkweed and other pollinator plants a leg up. This is a great opportunity to enjoy a spring day at the Wetlands and to help improve habitat along the Crooked River.

Rating: Work party with moderate physical activity that includes digging and pulling weeds out of uneven ground.

What to Bring: Face covering (homemade is fine), hand sanitizer, work gloves, snacks, hand tools, and sturdy, closed-toed shoes. Dress for the weather.
