Laurie Danahy

Laurie Danahy is an early childhood educator. She leads tours for children and adults with the Land Trust.

Laurie Danahy lives in Sisters on the banks of Whychus Creek.  She’s worked in the field of early childhood for over 40 years and now serves as trainer and consultant for Head Start, preschool and infant-toddler programs around the Northwest and beyond.  She comes from a family that treasures nature, believes every child needs time in the woods, and loves helping children, families, caregivers, and teachers experience the joy of time spent outdoors.
