Magnificent Monarchs

Magnificent Monarchs

Central Oregon is rich with numerous species of native butterflies including the magnificent monarch butterfly. Join Deschutes Land Trust ecologist Amanda Egertson for a colorful talk to learn more about the king of the butterfly world: the mighty monarch. Amanda will share fascinating facts about their life history, incredible migrations, and ways you can help them survive and thrive in our high desert. Then, you'll have a chance to ask your monarch or milkweed questions! **Registration required to receive the virtual event link. Only one person per household needs to register for this event.**
