Willow Springs Restoration, Virtual

**This is the rescheduled Willow Springs Preservation Restoration Tour from June 15th.**

Join the Deschutes Land Trust for a virtual Willow Springs Preserve restoration session. Land Trust restoration specialist Jason Grant and Mathias Perle from the Upper Deschutes Watershed Council will give a brief overview of the upcoming Whychus Creek restoration project at Willow Springs Preserve followed by an extended question and answer session. Peter Gutowsky, Deschutes County planning manager, will also be on hand to help answer questions. We encourage all participants to read through the Willow Springs Preserve Restoration Overview prior to the session, then join us online to learn more and ask their questions about this multi-year restoration effort. Registration is required, click the yellow 'Register Now' button above to reserve your space.

Jason Grant is the Deschutes Land Trust's Restoration Specialist. His work is focused on restoration project planning and implementation. He lives and works from Redmond and in our Bend office.

Jason attended Oregon State University, where he received his B.S. in Fisheries and Wildlife Science. Over the past 11 years, he has worked in the fisheries field for two tribal agencies in Oregon--first for the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation and then for the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs. Jason brings experience in floodplain restoration project management, natural resources interdisciplinary team project analysis, building and maintaining partnerships, and agency participation in technical review teams. He is a native Oregonian with a deep passion for land conservation in the state. Away from work, you might find Jason fly fishing, gardening, coaching his kids' sports teams, or hiking with his family.
