The Deschutes Land Trust and Deschutes Brewery are thrilled to announce our Campaign for Whychus Creek Business Matching Challenge. The first $10,000 in business donations to the Land Trust in support of the Campaign for Whychus Creek will be matched dollar for dollar by Deschutes Brewery!
As many of you know, last fall the Land Trust launched its ambitious Campaign for Whychus Creek, and we're humbled by the support of so many who've given to the Campaign already. This generous match and endorsement of our efforts by Deschutes Brewery will provide added incentive for our many business supporters to see their donations doubled.
Named as OUTSIDE's Best Places to Work in both 2013 and 2014, Deschutes Brewery was founded in 1988 as a brew pub in Bend. In fact, the founders of the Deschutes Land Trust finalized their plans to begin the organization over beer at the Deschutes public house, which is still just steps from the Land Trust office. Deschutes Brewery now ships beer to 28 states, the District of Columbia, and around the world from its main brewing facility located on the banks of the Deschutes River, and is still family and employee owned after 27 years of operation.
Please help spread the word about this wonderful challenge, and encourage businesses to support the Campaign for Whychus Creek to see their donation doubled by Deschutes Brewery. For more information, or to make a donation from your business, contact Zak Boone, associate director via email or at (541) 330-0017.
