Bo Lyons is the founder and facilitator of Birdhers, a bird watching club for women, trans, and non-binary people based in Portland, OR. They invite folks to meet weekly at local parks to birdwatch in an inclusive and free space with a supportive community of lifelong learners.

Birdhers seeks to foster community through birdwatching and nature stewardship while practicing queer and feminist theory. To give back to the birds and honor their vibrant habitats, they have partnered with local organizations like SOLVE, Columbia Slough Watershed Council, Trailkeepers of Oregon, and others to organize group acts of service.
