Join the Deschutes Land Trust and Derek Loeb to learn about the geology and hydrology of the Metolius River. We'll start at the headwaters of the Metolius River and then drive to Wizard Falls Fish Hatchery before ending with a hike to the Land Trust's Metolius River Preserve. Each stop will help us explore how the region was formed by volcanic processes and faulting and how that relates to its special hydrology. Enjoy stunning river views as you learn more about this unique landscape. Registration is required and opens 1 month prior to the event.
