Join the Deschutes Land Trust and Robin Galloway for Nature Kids! Get outside and explore the nature of Central Oregon on guided family nature walks just for kids ages 8-12. Kids and their families can explore, imagine, and grow through hands-on activities and experiences outside. During June and July, we'll explore the world of wildlife! Test your observation skills by finding signs that animals leave behind in their daily travels. Then learn how to match these signs to the animals, through bones, tracks, and scat (poop).
Meet other families, learn more about the natural world around us, and have fun! Offered on the third Friday of the month May-August at Land Trust Preserves near Sisters. Perfect for kids ages 8-12 with a grown-up in tow. Registration is required and opens 1 month prior to the event.
