Watching birds is a great way to explore and connect with the natural world around us. Whether you're birding from your backyard or on your favorite trail, noticing the birds flying overhead or noisily drawing attention from a nearby tree reminds us that we share these places with our feathery friends. Here is a video lesson covering tools to get started, choosing and using binoculars, how to see more birds, how to identify birds, how to walk at 'bird speed,' and other great tips from Land Trust volunteer, Ben Ward to help you get birding!
