Land Trust Update on COVID-19

Mar 17, 2020
The Land Trust announces updates to our office and events due to COVID-19.

By Brad Chalfant

The Land Trust has been monitoring the spread and impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19), and we want you to know that the health and safety of our staff, volunteers, and community is our highest priority. Towards that end, we want to share some of the changes we have made during these difficult times to help our community:

  • The Land Trust office is now closed to outside visitors. Please call us at 541-330-0017 if you need to reach a staff member. Pat Cohen will be there answering the phone and helping you find a solution to your question. (Thanks Pat!)
  • Staff are working remotely and practicing self-isolation. They can be reached via email and/or phone.

As you know, the COVID-19 situation changes daily and the Land Trust is working to adapt and respond as needed. We will keep you updated on these changes as they come and thank you in advance for your patience and flexibility during these unprecedented times.

In the meantime, we will keep doing what we do best: conserve and care for land in Central Oregon. We have some exciting projects on the horizon and we look forward to sharing the news about these in the coming months. Your continued support during these trying times means the world to us and we hope you’ll find the time and space for supporting the Land Trust and helping your neighbors and those in need. These actions will help us all build and heal our community!
