If you are 70 1/2 or older, there's an additional option for making a gift to the Deschutes Land Trust! Did you know that you can make a charitable gift from your IRA and your gift won't count as part of your adjusted gross income?
Charitable contributions can be made (up to a maximum of $105,000 per person) from eligible retirement accounts, including traditional Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs) and Roth IRAs. Gifts must come directly from your IRA administrator to the Deschutes Land Trust.
Charitable IRA giving is especially helpful once you have a Required Minimum Distribution (RMD). And it's a great way to help conserve and care for the lands and waters that you love and cherish, now and into the future! Contact your financial advisor today and then make your charitable IRA gift to the Deschutes Land Trust!
