The Land Trust is excited to bring back our series just for families this year—Nature Kids!
Nature Kids outings are guided family nature walks just for families with kids ages 5-10. With topics from birds to trees, teddy bears and bees, kids and parents will have a great time with our amazing leader. Get outside, explore the nature of Central Oregon, meet other families, and have fun! Offered on the second Wednesday and last Saturday of the month, April-October, at Land Trust Preserves and at parks in Bend.
Registration is not required, but helps provide emailed driving directions and other outing information.

- July 9, 2025, 9:30-11am. Nature Kids: Interesting Insects! at Alpenglow Park, Bend

- August 13, 2025, 9:30-11am. Nature Kids: Teddy Bear Picnic! at Shevlin Park, Bend

- September 10, 2025, 2:30-4pm. Nature Kids: Frog, Toad, and Abode! at Shevlin Park, Bend
