Wildlife Fencing Work Party
Join the Land Trust for an early spring work party at Paulina Creek Preserve to create more wildlife-friendly fencing at the Preserve. Volunteers will remove the barbed wire from an existing fence to make it easier for wildlife to cross. Help improve habitat for wildlife, get your hands dirty, and have fun while making a difference in Central Oregon!
Rating: Work party with moderate physical activity that includes removing and carrying barbed wire, and walking 2-3 miles off trail to complete fence work. Terrain will be uneven at times.
What to bring: Work gloves (ideally leather, if you have them), snacks/lunch, sunglasses/eye protection, and sturdy, closed toe shoes. Dress for the weather (puffy jackets not recommended).
This is an adult-only work party. Volunteers 18 and over are welcome.
