Ready to take the next step in your Land Trust bird survey orientation? Then join the Deschutes Land Trust for a site orientation at Camp Polk Meadow Preserve in the lower meadow. We’ll show you where to survey, what routes to follow, and share important details about property rules and boundaries. Note: you must have completed the first steps in the bird survey orientation process to join this training.

Rating: This is a moderate ~1-2 mile hike. Portions will be off-trail through a grassy meadow. Terrain will be uneven and wet at times.

What to bring: Binoculars (if you have them), snacks, water, closed toe shoes that are waterproof (or you don't mind getting wet), long pants. Dress for the weather.
